About the Universiade

The professional linguistic Universiade “Linguasphere” provides an exceptional opportunity for ambitious students and young professionals to demonstrate their foreign language skills in a professional setting, exchange experiences with like-minded people, and gain new knowledge in a dynamic and competitive environment. As part of the Universiade, the participants will tackle engaging competitive tasks prepared by leading experts in linguistics and communication. The tasks will be presented in various formats, including professional testing and oral presentations in a foreign language. Join us to take a step toward your future in an international professional environment!

Benefits of participation

The participants have the opportunity to receive diplomas for the winners and runners-up (I, II, III degree), certificates for training, and internships in leading industry organisations.

Participants

Students pursuing higher education programmes—bachelor’s, specialist, and master’s programs—regardless of study form (full-time, part-time, distance) in higher education institutions.

Contest tasks

The tasks of the Universiade are developed depending on the profile that corresponds to one or more bachelor’s degree programmes and the foreign language studied by the participant.

How to participate

  • Familiarize yourself with the Universiade Provisions, Rules and Regulations on the Universiade portal: https://linguasphere.linguanet.ru/dokumenty
  • Register a personal account on the Universiade portal to undergo the qualifying (distance) stage from November 17, 2025 to December 08, 2025: https://linguasphere.linguanet.ru/
  • Start completing the tasks after they are given in your personal account.
  • Wait for the results of the qualifying (distance) stage of the Universiade no later than December 15, 2025: https://linguasphere.linguanet.ru/results
  • If you become a winner or a runner-up of the qualifying (distance) stage, come for the final (in-person) stage tests at the Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU), on December 20–21, 2025, at: 36 Ostozhenka Street, Moscow.
  • Complete the final contest tasks of the Universiade.
  • Wait for the final results of the in-person stage no later than December 29, 2025: https://linguasphere.linguanet.ru/results
  • Receive the Universiade diplomas of I, II, III degree in your personal account on the Universiade portal.
